Payment, Booking & Cancelation Policies
My goal with Frizz Studio is to provide my clients with complete satisfaction for their photography and digital art needs. I provide a service in the business-2-business world and recognize that we are all human.
I expect mutual respect, professionalism, and a willingness to be fair in business. These policies are in place for joint assurance and professional communication.
Commercial Payment, Credit & Refund Policy
Ideally, Projects are booked and planned out with payment on the way sooner than 14-days before a booked date. However, I do often take short-booking timeframes. In that case, payment is due by, before, or on the date of service and is non-refundable. Understand that these policies are in place to offset the loss of business and expected income. With that said, I am always willing to work with every situation fairly.
Projects under $500.00 USD — Non-Refundable Full Payment is due prior to your booking date. However, I often schedule bookings 1-3 months out, in those cases, I will honor refunds for early-payment-commitments: If payment is made 14-days prior to the booking date and cancelation takes place, I will honor a full refund. If cancelation happens under 14-days prior to the photography date, I can discuss one of these options as each case can be situational:
- Full Photography Credit
- 50% Refund, 50% Serves as Cancelation Fee or 50% Photography Credit (one of these two options)
- 100% Serves as Cancelation Fee
Projects over $500.00 USD — 50% Non-Refundable Retainer is due prior to the booking date. This will serve as a Cancelation Fee in the case that this is project is canceled under 14-days prior to the booked date(s). This offsets the loss of income for holding this date. If I can book the date and recoup funds, I will provide a full refund. I often schedule bookings 1-3 months out, in the case that I have early-payment-commitments, I will honor the above-aforementioned policy for “Projects under $500. USD.”
What are Early-Payment-Commitments: I reference this term in both project categories. This refers to clients who pay in advance — prior to 14-days of their booking date. I appreciate planning ahead and early, prompt payment(s). This shows me your commitment level to the job you need me to do and secures my expectations of income. This is why I am willing to work with clients who pay ahead of schedule if reasonable canceling or rescheduling needs to happen.
Delivery: Projects will not be delivered until full payment is made final. I have zero control over my digital delivery of projects once you have them downloaded. Unless otherwise noted, I will not deliver final work until your final payment clears.
NO REFUNDS are offered or available post project delivery. I am very confident in my service and would know if work is not up to par before delivering the final work. I have enough project work showcased on my website services links, social media, and referral sites to provide you with a preview of the services I render. In addition, I have plenty of public reviews via Google Local Business, Thumbtack, Bark, and Facebook to show that I hold a consistent 5-Star Gold Standard for working with me and the work I deliver. That said, we are all human, if I personally feel that I did not perform a job properly, I will be upfront about it and offer a refund, re-shoot, etc. to resolve how I envisioned the work. I spend a lot of time planning and gathering visuals and expectations before each job, I am confident in the services I provide.

Subscription Photography Plans
Subscription Photography Plans are a pre-paid agreement service. I do not offer refunds or prorate funds if canceling service. Because Consider paying month-to-month or quarterly if you are not 100% committed to the duration of this service.
I offer a deep-discount for this service, given that it provides frequent and consistent types of photography work throughout my year. This is a commitment on my part and an agreement on both our parts.
All that said, in the case that there is an “Act of God”, for example, COVID-19 or Wildfires, for which our local valley has experienced in 2020, I will take each case under consideration. I have extended some accounts and customized some areas of the agreements.
