Polished, Natural, and Professional Editing

At Frizz Studio, my editing approach is designed to enhance, not overpower. I use high-end retouching techniques to create a clean, natural look—ensuring each headshot is refined, professional, and flattering without feeling overly edited.

Every image is carefully retouched to look professional, confident, and true to you—because great headshots should enhance, not distract.

My Advanced Hair Retouching Techniques will help balance out curls, fill in thin areas, and remove flyaways. I will also adjust the color (as needed) and smooth the look of the hair. I can leave the hair as-is upon request.

Studio Shoots will have Bonus PNG Transparent Files that feature a Pro Cutout with refined edges, making them ideal for high-quality marketing materials.

My skin retouching techniques result in an overall smoother, well-balanced complexion without oversmoothing. I aim to keep you looking your age with an added glow, which I call a “Polished Portrait.”

I will usually discuss a level of editing and can make changes if anything feels overdone to you.

Other Skin Edits could include:

Removal of Facial Piercings, Softening or Removing Scars, Softening Moles, and balancing overall color.

When editing faces, I aim to keep them accurate to your shape with only a slight difference. Many clients want a chin and cheek tuck, which I accommodate lightly (because you should be recognizable as you). 

Things I address during face edits – as needed:

Eyebrow balance, shape fix, tidy, and fill.

Smile Shape balance

Dry / Chapped lips fix

Uneaven Tan Lines

Upon Request: I can enhance or add any type of make-up, lashes, lipstick, etc.

Eyes are not always the same shape, so I often balance them out and whiten/brighten them as well. 

I have tools to adjust Lazy or other eye issues to your comfort level. 

When your head is squeezed into a box, these features stand out more than when you are in person.

I lighten/whiten Teeth without going overboard; it should look natural. 

Optional Edit Fixes: crooked, chipped, missing or dark teeth.

Often, great posing techniques require outfit adjustments to remove or reduce distracting creases and wrinkles in jackets or flowy clothing. 

These are minor changes but help the overall image immensely. 

All files are High-Resolution JPEGs delivered in an online client gallery. 

Studio Style photos include bonus PNG Transparent Files, which are great for enriching your marketing efforts!
