Great Photo Locations
Below is a collection of locations I have used over the years for family portraits. I am NOW ONLY available for family portraits to business clients. I will be working to evolve this page simply into a locations guide for headshots, senior and other business and commercial photography — some of the descriptions still pertain to family sessions until I can make edits to it. 🙂 Thanks for understanding!
TouVille Wildlife Trail
This is a beautiful nature trail along the outskirts of the Denman Wildlife Reserve. Featuring dirt trail, a forest of oaks, and some open dry fields. This trail is very accessible for any age. Bathrooms – yes, if in season
*NOTE: This is a State Park with a $5 Day-Use Parking Fee.
Britt Gardens
Located in Downtown Jacksonville right next to the Britt Performance Stage. I a beautiful location for morning or evening shoots. Features stone pathways and natural, mossy stone steps.
Very accessible for any age. Wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms are open until winter (sometimes longer).
Roxy Ann Hill, Road
Officially known as Prescott Park. Morning or evening sessions, with hours of operation to keep in mind. Maybe on Bathrooms. 😉
Pretty accessible for any age and wheelchair friendly if not minding the dirt.
EdenVale / Voorhies Barn
The backside of the EdenVale Tasting Room and Voorhies mansion is a field and barn area. Yes on Bathrooms. The location has specific hours.
They are usually open between 11 am – 6:30 pm (sometimes this changes seasonally)
EdenVale / Voorhies Mansion
The EdenVale Mansion is a beautiful setting to do photos at. The composition pictured here is best after 2 pm in the day (not for morning light). The location has specific hours.
They are usually open between 11 am – 6:30 pm (sometimes this changes seasonally)
Del Rio Vineyards
Del Rio is a lovely location but can be a bit limited if the free-range you-pick flower field is not blooming. No access to the vineyard (pesticides).
Vineyards can be a fun and social place to do photos and they are always so accommodating and friendly here.
McKee Covered Bridge
The Mckee Covered Bridge in the Applegate is a super cool location but does take a commitment to get there. It is generally about a 45-minute drive from the valley.
While it does sit over the Applegate river, photos will only be done up at the bridge.
Bathrooms are hit and miss if they’re open (might be an outhouse).
“Grant Road” Field
This is one of my favorite “easy” locations here in Central Point. It’s at the back of my neighborhood and it’s just that cute little spot that works!
Just an open field and some pretty evergreens are what it’s about. Throw in a plaid blanket and you’ve got a seasonal photo.
No Bathrooms!
RoxyAnn Winery
RoxyAnn Winery up off Hillcrest is a great location with a simplistic backdrop. No vineyard access but there are lots of neat farm and barn elements including this fun old orchard truck.
Grab some wine here!
Lithia Park, Ashland
Lithia Park in Ashland, Oregon is a fairly popular photography location. It’s got so much variety. Pretty foliage in the fall months. The tree’s usually “turn” (colors) around Mid-Late October.
Yes on Bathrooms and pretty accessible.
Oregon Coast
I love doing weekends at the Oregon Coast in Brookings and just outside of Brookings. If you’re interested in a coast session please just pop me a message and I can find a good date to work with.

Not available for half sessions.
Locations in and around Brookings vary.
Urban Central Point
Downtown portraits can be fun and have a hint of that small-town, lazy Sunday vibe.
*The same concept can be applied to Downtown Medford and Jacksonville.
Urban Jacksonville
Downtown Jacksonville definitely has a cool style with lots of old brick and other surfaces and doors.
Yes/usually on Bathrooms at local shops.
Lake of the Woods
Such a pretty location only about 45-minutes from the valley. Great location for both summer, fall, and winter.
Not always available for half sessions. HOWEVER — I find this can be a fun opportunity for a few family groups to stay at the cabins or camp and do family sessions. I can provide the half session pricing for 3-4 family groups.
Palmerton Park, Rogue River
A lesser-known location to the Medford and Grants Pass options, Palmerton Park is located right in town. This awesome suspension bridge is one cool feature along with some old stone and moss steps on the park side.
All Sports Park (GP)
The All Sports Park, also called Reinhart Volunteer Park is located in the heart of Grants Pass, Oregon. It is such a beautiful spot full of variety. Excellent for photos all year round.
Yes on Bathrooms and pretty accessible.
Valley of the Rogue State Park
This is an all-time favorite location, especially in the fall. Features a very Oregonesque scene with mountains and nature. Great for all ages.
Bathrooms are not easy to get to (they are in the Campground prior to getting to the photo area).
Skyrman Arboretum
A fun hidden gem of a location here in Central Point. This is a naturally wooded city park with walking paths. Quaint and easy to access right off Hwy-99.
No Bathrooms. Accessibility is good.
